Fast-rising female dancehall artist Moyann is best known for her unique style and socially conscious lyrics. Born Moyann Montique on December 21, 1999, the 23-year-old singer and songwriter was raised in Gutters, Montego Bay.
Moyann grew up listening to some of Jamaica’s biggest musical influences at a young age. She gained popularity in 2019 with her hit single “Netflixxx and Chill,” which garnered millions of views on YouTube. Since then, she has released several other singles, including “Middle” ft. Tommy Lee Sparta, “Mad Out,” and “No Limit” and most recently “Feelings.”
Moyann has been praised for her talent and is considered one of the most promising young artists in Jamaica. She has performed at several major events both locally and internationally, including Reggae Sumfest, Sting, Women Empowerment Atlanta, and Shutdown Belize.
