Dancehall artiste Chino has been creating a ruckus in England and Spain thus far.

The artiste who left the island last week for a three-month tour in Europe and the USA has consistently performed in front of a full house each night.

“The experience has been good so far.Europe, but Spain inparticular has a good vibe. The fans areloving the songs and performances and I have to say Spain is my favourite place so far.The best thing about European culture is that theyare very open-minded. They go forreal music,as opposed to disposable music or ‘hype-up’ music. I think they appreciate Jamaican music even more than us at home … but the shows in Spain have been great because of the general vibe of the people and the women,” he said laughing.

“And it’s the warmest place we have been to so far, everywhere else is freezing,” he added.

Also on the tour are other members of the Big Ship family, including: veteran reggae singer, Freddie McGregor, dancehall artiste,Laden and singer, Shema McGregor.

Their next three stops will be in Cardiff, Wales, Birmingham, England andManchester, England. They return to the island in September.
