Future Fambo 'Mad' about album

Entertainer Warren ‘Future Fambo’ Williams, formerly known as Future Trouble is about to release his second album entitled Mad.

Fambo, in an interview with THE STAR said that he was still on the ‘front burner’, and in fact, had just recently returned from a European tour, where he toured Switzerland and England along with Bounty Killer who was the headline act.

This, he says, was well received.

“Since Courtney Cole released the ‘Kung Fu’ album in the ’90s this is my first under the new name Future Fambo,” he said.

According to Fambo, songs such as Run Di Place, Drunken Dance and Out will be on the new album, which he hopes to release on June 28. Fambo is also set to travel to New York for a show, where he is slated to perform at Amazuru.

While the entertainer who was born in Parry Town, St Ann, is not riding with any great fanfare in comparison to others, he told THE STAR that the music industry is one that he will continue to be a part of, but it is not an easy road.

“My inspiration comes from my uncle Zack who performed with the Astronauts and did songs such as Born Jamaican. I always wanted to be performing.”

He went on to state that the music must be spread in a positive way that others can benefit and it was for that reason why he will continue to do uplifting music.

Fambo also pointed out that even his Drunken Dance song, that had been banned in some countries, has a positive message.

“It has a line that said, ‘you don’t have to be drunk to do the drunken dance, you just go out and dance. So it is all positive,” he explained.

Nevertheless, despite the many challenges, the entertainer says he will continue to work as he believes he still has what it takes to ‘run di place’.
