Barrett, who hails from St Elizabeth, is one of the winners of Pulse’s Caribbean Model Search and has made an indelible impact on fashion in all the major markets. He is excited about his upcoming appearance at Caribbean Fashionweek (CFW) 2011, as the event enters its second decade.
Barrett is famous for many campaigns and editorials including such heavyweight publications as Italian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, Interview, Arena Homme, and i-D. His campaigns have included Lord & Taylor, Liz Claiborne, John Bartlett, Pepe Jeans, Abercrombie & Fitch, Phat Farm, Baby Phat, Target and Phat Premium.
In recent times, however, Oraine has become Ralph Lauren’s star model, and his image has come to symbolise the elegant sophistication and rugged handsomeness of the Ralph Lauren man.
Apart from the Caribbean’s best designers, international stylists and celebrities, CFW 2011 will present Jamaica Night on June 10 with Mavado and Tanya Stephens; Caribbean Night on Saturday, June 11 with Machel Montano and David Rudder, backed by Fab Five; and International Night on Sunday, June 12, with Joe and Beenie Man.
