REDjet cannot speak to the policies and operations of regulatory authorities but reaffirms that REDjet submitted all of the required documentation in a timely fashion and in accordance with the procedures and regulations of each country and met all the safety and ownership requirements to operate in the region.
As a designated airline of Barbados, REDjet has, to date, not been granted the routes applicable, and commitments made to the airline have not materialised despite meeting all requirements. Â REDjet continues to work closely with authorities across the region.
REDjet sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused and remains 100% committed to delivering our Low Fares to Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica. REDjet is working across the region with 13 countries and will be announcing additional routes over the coming months and will continue to inform our customers of the latest developments as information comes to hand.
REDjet’s success in launching our inaugural services from Barbados to Guyana and the tremendous passenger response has proved that consumers welcome competition and lower fares and we look forward to ensuring ‘Everyone Can Fly’.
