Fast rising St. Ann based singjay Rhumba seems to have found his breakout single based on the initial feedback since the release of his new music video entitled “Journey”. The song which can be described as trap dancehall has already amassed over 263,000 streams on YouTube in just five days since its release but according Rhumba he is not surprised by the positive feedback.
“From me a record the song me know people would a feel it because it real and the melodies dem unique so I am actually humbled by the positive feedback but not surprised. The people start pree my ting now and me just a ensure that me put out quality work for them to enjoy“ stated Rhumba.
Born Rohan Nesta the Discovery Bay native says he was always involved in music but started taking music serious after being bombarded by requests and encouragement from family and friends.
“Journey is a song that gives you an idea of how challenging it has been to bring my craft to the forefront. Over the years I have always been encouraged by family and friends to showcase my talent to the world which provided the fuel I needed to push forward” Stated Rhumba.
Currently Rhumba is kept busy promoting a slew of new singles including Journey, Faith and Protect Me.
