Spice Wins Award and Heads to Antigua For Champions In Action

(Kingston, Jamaica) — Last week Saturday night Dancehall artiste Spice won the award for “Female Dancehall Artiste of The Year” at the Stone Love 37th Anniversary concert. She says, “I was very surprised when I heard. That night I was unable to attend because I was at another show in Mandeville; but I’m very happy and I have to say thank you to the Stone Love team and those who arrived at that decision. I’m a hard worker and it feels good to be acknowledged.”

The Canadian edition of the concert which was cancelled a few months ago and Spice, who was also slated to perform there is excited about the Antiguan leg of the concert. “It’s always a pleasure performing in Antigua; the people there are so warm and they love our music. So I’m looking forward to this weekend to perform there. It will be a lot of vibes and non-stop fun because people know that once Spice is on stage it’s a lot of excitement and drama,” she said.

When Spice returns to the island, she will be performing on this year’s Island Explosion on December 24, in May Pen, Clarendon and on December 26 the artiste heads to Sting.
