STIR IT UP “The ultimate 80’s/90’s party” to stimulate ‘Sweet Dreams’ at new venue

(Kingston, JAMAICA) Fans of music from the 80’s and 90’s decades, start brushing up on your favourite retro dance moves, because STIR IT UP is on the horizon!

On Saturday October 3, 2009, Expozé and Royal Circle Entertainment, in association with Stone’s Ginger Wine and Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum will host STIR IT UP – the ultimate 80’s and 90’s party – at the Mas Camp, New Kingston. STIR IT UP will deliver on its usual theme of “More music, legs talk” with an added twist, promising “Sweet Dreams” for the patrons who come out on that night.

Sweet dreams are made of this

A surreal compilation of some Jamaica’s finest selectors will be at the helm to get the legs talking at STIR IT UP, whilst limiting unnecessary banter over the microphone. Under the tutelage of ace selectors Kurt ‘the Party Animal’ Riley, Arif Cooper and Johnny Kool, spinning on the Renaissance Sound System, patrons are set to enjoy a night of dancing to their favourite retro tunes.

The “dreamy” package continues with the Wray & Nephew Mix hour between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. when all patrons may enjoy Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum and Stone’s Ginger Wine drink mixes free of cost. Thereafter, Stone’s Ginger Wine will be offered at concessionary prices under the Mega Stone’s Deal package.

And to access all this, patrons will not have to dig very deep into their pockets. Admission is only $600 presold and $800 at the gate; whilst ladies enjoy a preferential rate of just $500 at the gate before midnight!

New venue

Though the event has enjoyed much success at its previous venue, the promoters decided to make the move to Mas Camp to accommodate STIR IT UP’s growing following and to allow for more amenities to be available to their patrons. This means patrons can expect more secure parking facilities, bigger bar space, a more spacious dance floor and improved access to sponsor products and paraphernalia.

By all indications, this upcoming edition of STIR IT UP will be one for the history books. This one is the eight-year vintage and it goes without saying that “dancing cyaa done”!

Tickets will be available at Shimmer, Xtra’s Manor Park, LG Brown Service Station, Dunrobin Avenue, Just Call Couriers by calling 355-7390, Truck Stop, Priceless Pharmacy, Portmore; and Kabella’s.
