    The incumbent is responsible for all activities regarding the management of employee compensation.

    Activities will include entering payroll information, calculating salaries and making payments and ensuring the organizations statutory obligation is met in a timely manner.

    Minimum requirements:
    • First degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline from an accredited
    institution
    • At least two (2) years working experience in administering Payroll using payroll software
    • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations
    • Knowledge of Accupay Payroll software is a plus
    • Sound knowledge of IFRS and other statutory obligations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products
    • Be willing to work long hours and sometimes on weekends.

    The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
    • Manage compensation packages using payroll software (Accupay)
    • Calculate commissions as well as pay according to hours worked incorporating leave and
    overtime when required
    • Initiate timely salary and deduction remittances by preparing direct deposit files in the
    appropriate format for upload through the banking system
    • Administering of Department’s Petty Cash Float
    • Data entry of stock usage of Kitchen and Ancillary items
    • Conduct stock count of storeroom inventory (Kitchen, Ancillary & Meeting Rooms)
