Vershon Frustrated at Sting 2015

Vershon – Use To Hungry [Take Time Riddim]
ONE of 2015’s rising stars, Vershon, is frustrated that Sting’s organisers failed to stick to the running order which resulted in him not making his debut on the Boxing Day show.

“I am disappointed that I didn’t get a chance to perform because judging by what is being said on social media, they were looking forward to seeing me perform on Sting. So I just want to apologise to them (fans), but the whole thing was beyond my control,”

Vershon said in a media release.

He stated that he arrived at the venue (Jamworld in Portmore) at 2:00 am and was scheduled to go on stage two hours later.

“But then the stage manager kept pushing back the time, then I was scheduled to go up after Professor Nuts, then somebody else came and changed the line-up again, and sent up Stylysh and Starface, and with the profanity, the police locked it off. The way mi upset mi feel this ah go be my first and last Sting,” he said.

Police ended the event abruptly minutes after 6:00 am on Sunday. In addition to Vershon, Merciless, Gully Bop, Beenie Man, and Ninjaman did not perform.

Vershon (given name Adrian Brown) had a banner 2015, thanks to popular songs like Inna Real Life, Used to Hungry and

Man De Yah.
