With the dawning of 2010, the deejay is already experiencing brighter days with the recent announcement of his nomination for two Excellence In Music and Entertainment (EME), awards.

The Cassia Park native has been nominated in the categories of ‘Best New Artiste’, going up against the likes of G-Whizz, Ras Penco, Chase Cross, Romain Virgo, Chevaughn and Portmore Empire young guns Merital.

The prestigious EME Awards will be staged on Thursday, February 4, at the gardens of the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, 81 Knutsford Boulevard, New Kingston. The EME Awards is the brainchild of popular radio personality Richard ‘Richie B’ Burgess.

Ahead of the award show, Wasp is slated to release three new singles this month, geared towards the ladies, while promoting his latest single and video Cry Fi Dem, now enjoying premium rotation on the airwaves.
