Powered by the success of his current hit, Hundred Stab, on the Sky Daggering rhythm by Equinoxx Productions, deejay Aidonia, real name Sheldon Lawrence, is currently touring Europe for a series of performances across the major cities.
Eager to please his insatiable core of dancehall fans in Europe, Aidonia is extensively touring the continent for the next three weeks with scheduled stops in hot spots such like Padova and Milano in Italy, Copenhagen in Denmark, Toulouse in France, Berlin and Mannheim in Germany.
First major headline
On the first major headline tour for Aidonia, he will also welcome French sound system ‘Soul Stereo’ along for the journey.
The France-based selectors have worked with some of the industry’s premier talents, including Black Uhuru, Mykal Rose, Capleton, Natasja Scrul.
“We respect his (Aidonia’s) music and the energy that he brings to the stage. We are very happy to be part of this tour with him,” said Soul Stereo foundation member, Rico.
Although Aidonia has visited Europe on prior occasions, this will be the deejay’s first visit to Germany and Italy, where his work and popularity precedes him.
“There are a lot of Aidonia fans in Germany and Italy and although this is his first trip there, he has a steady fan base who can’t wait to see him hit the stage,” said a representative from his management team.
Promoted by Soul Vybz Music & Almighty Reggae, the ‘So Sick’ tour with Aidonia featuring Soul Stereo began on February 21 in Lecce, Italy, and will end March 28 in Toulouse, France.
Since his debut some years ago, Aidonia has been a prominent feature on the local and international dancehall market with hits like Bicycle, Bukam Bukam, Lolly, Send Fi Di, Nuh Start It and Uccubit.
