Knavi Next From West

Fast-rising Dancehall artiste Knavi is quickly earning his musical stripes following a slew of buzzy single releases. The young talent is being touted by several musical pundits as the next artiste from Western Jamaica to ascend to the upper echelon of the music industry. This prediction is for good reason especially considering the fact that he is already working with a cluster of on-fleek producers such as Dane Ray, Tip Gad, KnackOutt Productions

“I have put in the work over the years and it is paying off now cause Western Jamaica know di ting and the rest of Jamaica is quickly accepting my music. The short-term goal is to become a household name locally but my long-term goal is to bring dancehall to new heights globally” stated Knavi.

The St. James native recently released an epic music video for his latest single entitled “Balmain Bomber” which has already racked up over a million streams in less than a week. The single has impressed many with several top-flight social media personalities resharing his video as well as publicly expressing how impressed they are by the high standard of both the song and video. According to Knavi, he was very meticulous about the look of the video and the wordplay in the song as he wants to showcase his versatility.

“I am a artiste that thinks outside the box and this single showcases that and I am of the view that to stand as an artiste being different is very important. I can do every genre of music and I sing about a melting pot of topics so I literally have a song for every audience” Knavi stated.

Currently, Knavi is busy in the studio working with several top-notch producers as well as promoting his new single entitled “Balmain Bomber”.
