On November 30th 2011, the Raging Fyah roots music band will host “Love in Concert,” a two hour musical showcase featuring Raging Fyah and the Edna Manley Choir. Raging Fyah is an on the rise, conscious music band, founded in 2006 and comprised of Edna Manley College graduates who are committed to effecting positive change through music. This combination of roots reggae musicians and a classically trained choir, promises an evening of first rate family entertainment.

Full proceeds from the concert are in aid of the Arts Foundation at the Edna Manley College and the Bull Bay Primary School. Contributions to the Arts Foundation are earmarked for development of the college’s Piano Lab and to the Bull Bay Primary School will be in the form of a Christmas Treat in December 2011 plus funding to develop the school’s first music club. At the initial stage instruments will be supplied and EMC students will provide tutorship.

The concert which begins at 7 pm will be held in the Vera Moody Concert Hall at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMC). It is truly a product of the Edna Manley College; from the flyers and décor, to the music that will be performed by past and current students in support of future musicians. Tickets are available for $2000 (adults) and $1000 (students & volunteers) at Grizzly’s Entertainment, Simmer Down Café at the Bob Marley Museum, and the Edna Manley College.
