Jamaican artists Advoket is gearing up to premier his brand new video for the club banger “Up In The Club” this week. The video combines the reggae version as well as the club mix of the song which has been enjoying regular airplay in Jamaica as well as internationally but has been especially hot in the clubs.
The video for “In The Club” was directed by Robin Chin for Enhanzed Realism Films and the story line goes beyond that of a regular video for a club song. The video is crafted around the story line of Advoket being kidnapped outside is house when he is just about to leave for a concert in New York but another promoter wants him in a local club instead. The video combines humour with a club scene and an actual, story to follow throughout.
Advoket is joined in the video by comedians…. As well as dancers Mystic as well as Ding Dong, plus another guest appearance by selecta Rolexx.
This is what Advoket had to say about his new video:
“This is my second music video and the concept for it was a joint effort between myself and my management team with the aim of being entertaining and a bit outside of what is considered as the mainstream of music videos normally done here. My aim is to entertain while introducing my two current releases “Up in the club” and the “club mix” version to the general public. The video and photo shoot were taken in the scenic tranquility of parts of upper St. Andrew where no videos have been done in this time period. I think it is important to create music that entertains. I am currently working on other new releases that will be launched later and I hope that they, too, will be warmly received.
There is surely much more to come from Advoket but for now “Up In The Club” will premier in Jamaica this week and internationally next week.
