Beenie Man’s North American tour is going as strong as the Dancehall DJ’s career is long. After completing 10 shows in Canada and since being in the US as of September 20, the Dancehall veteran has given impressive performances. At the New Jersey Reggae Festival, Beenie left fans wanting more after performing just long enough to reinforce his title as King.
Following his New Jersey performance, Beenie boarded a plane for Colorado. Not having performed in that state for over nine years, Beenie thrilled fans in beautiful Aspen on Monday, and Denver on Wednesday where he was joined by Richie Spice and Spanner Banner.
“Beenie’s tour has been a huge success so far,” says Rahim Visram of Ultimate Entertainment, organiser of the tour.
Beenie Man has been backed by Lindo P of Red Flame sound throughout his North American tour, taking his performance style back to the days when artistes performed live with sound systems. Currently in Boulder, Colorado, Beenie is in high spirits about his dancehall tour, and is eager to give his fans in Boulder lifelong memories. For tonight’s show (September 25) Beenie will once again be joined by Richie Spice and Spanner Banner.
The tour continues into its third week over the upcoming weekend as Beenie Man and Red Flame Sound featuring Lindo P head to San Diego, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Santa Cruz and Berkley.
