Fast-rising dancehall artiste Damhixx has many reasons to smile of late considering the fact that he has scored his first buzzing single entitled “Narcotic”. The Crush Dem Records produced single has been steadily gaining traction on social media and in the street. The self-styled dancehall trap artiste says he has a melting pot of sounds and styles to unleash in the very near future.
“I am here to dominate l, I am here to claim my space, I am here to add to the great legacy created by the artistes that emerged before me. I am a versatile artiste so I don’t want it to be assumed that I do one type of music and as time goes I will showcase my full range” stated Damhixx.
The Clarendon-born entertainer says he feels very encouraged by the fact that several dancehall artistes are now getting signed to major record labels and are also charting globally.
“In my opinion dancehall music is growing globally which is very encouraging for every new talent because global entities are now looking in so it’s just for us to continue to impress them. My long-term goals is to become an international star” Stated Damhixx.
Currently, Damhixx is busy in studio recording for a cluster of top-notch producers and is also promoting his new single Narcotic.
