(Kingston, Jamaica) With her four track Reggae Sampler now in heavy circulation, Canadian R&B superstar Divine Brown is introducing her second official single from the compilation entitled “Melody Of My Heart“.
The original song which was recorded earlier this year at Geejam Recording Studios comes on the heels of the mento collaboration “Don’t You love Me Baby” alongside the legendary Jolly Boys band.
Known for her vocal versatility, Brown sets an authentic lovers rock tone on the one drop rhythm produced by fast rising producer Dale “Dizzle” Virgo. A passionate reggae enthusiast, Divine has been yearning for the opportunity to record more traditional music. According to a well placed source in her camp fans can expect a handful of reggae selections on her upcoming album dubbed “Something Fresh” due out later this year.
With plans of returning to Jamaica to promote her music at the forefront of her agenda, Divine Brown remains positive in her efforts to become a household name locally. To date her achievements include a Juno Award in 2009 for R&B / Soul Recording Of The Year and numerous charted singles namely “Old Skool Love” and “Sunglasses” which peaked at #14 on the Billboard Dance Charts in October 2010. She is represented in the Caribbean and Europe by Xklusiv Entertainment.
