International superstar DJ Khaled delivers “Staying Alive,” featuring Drake and Lil Baby. Staying Alive is the first single from Khaled’s forthcoming album God Did, which is set for release on August 26th via We The Best Music Group/Epic Records.
In the RT!-directed video, we see both artists as doctors fully dressed in scrubs at the Khaled Khaled Hospital. Drake aka Dr. Graham, the head of neurosurgery enjoys hookah and shots with staff in a waiting area while Lil Baby aka Dr. Jones, the head of cardiothoracic surgery smokes and operates on a patient.
God Did will serve as DJ Khaled’s 13th studio album and follow-up to Khaled Khaled, which was released in April 2021 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with an estimated 93,000 total album-equivalent first-week units.
“Staying Alive” is produced by Nyan and interpolates the Bee Gees’ 1977 hit single “Stayin’ Alive” with Drake singing a line from the throwback’s hook.
How she in love and she been over once?
It’s not like I known her for months
This life allowed me to take what I want
It’s not like I know what I want
It’s not like I know what I need
I get some time, but it’s no guarantees.
The Gibb brothers are listed as lyricists and composers in the new song’s credits. Stream DJ Khaled featuring Drake & Lil Baby STAYING ALIVE below.
