Dark Man X has been locked up since last December when he arrested for felony probation violation, after testing positive for cocaine five times between July and November 2010.

At the time of his sentencing Judge Christine Mulleneaux told the rapper she thought mental illness was the cause of his numerous runs ins with the law.

Your criminal history goes back to 1988. It’s going to continue until you take care of your mental health,” Judge Mulleneaux told the rapper at the time.

Under the terms of his release, X will be under supervised watch until August 12, 2011.

This latest trip to the pen is the 13th for the Yonkers, New York emcee. His maximum prison sentence ends on August 25th according to court records.
