DMX's Arizona Home Goes Into Foreclosure

While sitting behind bars on a number of different charges, DMX’s foreclosed Arizona home is being sold off by banks. However, since the police raid his home in May of last year, it was left unsecured, and thieves and the elements have turned the home into a disaster.

According to AZFamily.com, thieves have stolen every in the home from quads to furniture, while windows and doors were blown out by police and never fixed.

“The place was glamour and when they split up, nothing got taken care of,” Andrew Wheeler, an Arizona real estate agent, told the news channel. “I think people showed up, walked the house and took what they wanted.”

X bought the home for around $600,000 in 2003. Today, it has been placed on the market for an estimated sale price of $429,000. For Wheeler, being in charge of the sale of the home isn’t the easiest.

“It’s very nerve-racking … sometimes I think he’ll just show up. This was probably his pride and joy,” he said.

DMX coming home shouldn’t be a worry though. He’s currently behind bars, awaiting sentencing, after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including one count of animal cruelty, one count of theft, and one count each of felony possession of marijuana and a narcotic drug.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on January 30.
