Lyrical engineer, Jinyus, is causing trouble on the charts with his latest album, “Trouble”, after peaking at number 1 on the US iTunes Reggae Albums Chart. Released Sunday, October 22, 2023, to an overwhelming response, Jinyus took to social media to express his gratitude to all who supported him.

Not only did “Trouble” shot up to number 1 the same day it was released, but Jinyus also managed to have 6 singles make it into the Top 20 Reggae Songs Chart. Overall, the album was number 141 in the country on the all-genres chart. By the second day, Jinyus had 2 singles in the Top 10 Songs Chart, namely “Wrong Choice” at number 7 and “Reminisce” at number 10.

JTG Records produced “Trouble” but has songs from other producers including Track Starr Music Group, KLJ Productions, and KwanKussion. The 9-track compilation consists of features by I-Octane, Devin Di Dakta, and Sekuence. The lead single, “FG”, is already being heavily requested by radio and sound system DJs worldwide, however, most of the songs, especially this one, cannot be edited due to its deliberate explicit content.

Jinyus gave fans a shock of their lives in preparation for the launch of “Trouble” when he had deleted all his posts from his Instagram page weeks prior. In an exclusive interview with MichelleG on The Wednesday FixJinyus cleared the air and explained that he was doing a full revamp of the page’s look and his image. From the looks of things, Jinyus made the right choice as female fans are loving his new image.

Though it is the first time having an album on the chart, after charting only once before with his previous song called “Bare Noise”, Jinyus is not slowing down as he now has his eyes set on the Billboard Charts. With the lyrical ingenuity of Jinyus compiled into “Trouble”, there’s no doubt this feat will be accomplished.
