Fast-rising dancehall artiste Kapa Kaan has many reasons to smile of late considering the fact that he has crafted a sound that has many musical pundits excited. His latest single entitled “Burberry” has already impressed many with its smooth delivery and witty lyrics. According to Kapa Kaan, he plans to bring street and clean dancehall without stepping too far away from the hard-core dancehall.
“This song was initially a freestyle and my friends were listening and dem seh bro dis haffi voice now. Da song yah can buss yuh. And my gee dem nuh cap. Big Thugs and Twice Code a dem first tell me need fi press da song yah” stated Kapa Kaan.
This multifaceted artiste honed his craft deejaying for his peers throughout high school and after much encouragement, he decided to pursue a musical career.
“I grew up listening to the sounds of Damion Marley, Vybz Kartel and Busy Signal as I moved from Papine to St. Mary. However, it was while attending Heart College and Construction in Portmore I decided to give music my all” stated Kapa Kaan.
Currently, Kapa Kaan is busy promoting his buzzing single entitled Burberry which is produced by Mula Movementz and Millionaire Mindset Music (M3) as well as adding the finishing touches to his follow-up single entitled “Elevate”.
