Reggae Dancehall artist Konshens has a huge fan-base in Japan, and while sitting with us for an interview, he revealed that they are the main reason he released his “Real Talk” track exclusively in their country.
He explains that his music really resonated with the Japanese people and culture, and pointed out that his career actually started there, before making its way to the U.S.
During the interview, the Kingston, Jamaica native revealed the best piece of advice anyone has given to him, and also gave the rundown on his favorite American artists. When asked which ones he would specifically like to work with, Konshens revealed that he would like to work with female artists like Rihanna, Beyonce, and Nicki Minaj.
