Dancehall’s new eye candy Model Million says she is a dolly with purpose, intelligence and class. The deejay who has already racked up a very impressive 4.2 million streams on her debut single entitled Model Million says she is not here to make up numbers she is here to dominate. The witty beauty who is also an image consultant says our local music scene needs a bit more flair and finesse to truly maximize its international appeal and she is of the view that she can aid in those areas.
“Being an image consultant it gives me a distinct edge over the typical artiste because entertainment and fashion goes hand in hand and I am of the view that the imaging and styling standards in dancehall needs to improve in order to grow our international appeal. I want to be the benchmark when it comes to style as well as help other artistes to truly develop their image” Stated Model Million.
The deejay who is blessed with attractive physical attributes initially dabbled in modeling while attending the St. Hilda’s Hight in Browns Town St. Ann before migrating to Canada where she studied fashion coordination and styling at Ryerson University. According to Model Million it was a random encounter with a male reggae singer who asked her to sing an intro to one of his songs that led to her pursuing music professionally.
“I did an intro for a reggae singer and the response was so overwhelming that I decided to take music seriously and a few months later my first song has racked up 4.2 million views lol dat tuff. Right now I am just growing as an artiste and taking everything one day at a time” Stated Model Million.
Currently, Model Million is busy promoting her new single as well as recording for several top-flight music producers.
