mr vegas onstage interview 2016

Being his usual no-holds-barred self, Mr Vegas last week, stoked negative sentiments towards Drake’s use of Dancehall in his ‘Views’ album. The “heads high” sing jay lambasted the Canadian rapper for first the exclusion of Popcaan’s version of “Controlla” from the album; but more importantly, according to Vegas, the inclusion of samples from various Dancehall artistes without the appropriate credits.

The “bruk it down” DJ has taken to social media to air his grievances with Drake, who he thinks is a fake riding the current wave of Dancehall in mainstream America to his advantage but is no real lover of the genre.
