The deejay, alongside entertainers G-Whizz, Khago and QQ, visited the various wards and spread some Christmas cheer on Tuesday.

Having been a donor to the hospital for many years, Shaggy, while not hosting his now-annual Shaggy and Friends concert this time around, was not deterred from continuing to give to the children at his annual treat.

Starting after 3 p.m., Shaggy and his friends, as well as the KFC mascot, Scotiabank volunteers and others, made their way from ward to ward, handing out presents, taking pictures and talking to the children.

A number of children were seen sporting painted faces done by the clown, who was having fun making the children laugh. The children were all smiles as the entertainers, who all seemed to be very good with children, talked to them, and spread a lot of good cheer.

Held for the last two years, Shaggy and Friends has seen the entertainment fraternity coming together and assisting the deejay in making a difference. Shaggy’s assistance over the years has raised millions of dollars through his annual charity concert. According to Shaggy, the concert was on a break until next year so they could find the time to reinvent themselves.
