(Kingston, Jamaica) Reggae recording artists Sophia Brown is showing no signs of slowing in 2011 this as she continues to reign on reggae and international music charts across the world.
The latest chart information comes from Media Guide sources which list Brown in the Top 10 Urban and Top 50 Pop Charts. The source also shows where Brown has a number of songs in rotation on premier radio stations Kiss 103.1FM, The Beat 96FM and Hot 103 Jamz.
On the local front Brown is keeping busy promoting her latest video “Let It Be Me” which was release some 3 weeks ago. The video which was directed by international video director Kia Morris was shot in L.A and is currently getting good feedback from local and international media. Coming off the high of her Sting debut Brown confessed the new year is off to a wonderful start. “Well my Sting debut was awesome, I went on at midnight and did a total of three songs for my fans and knowing that I was put infront of a tough crowd I went out there with confidence and the people gave me a positive feedback. Outside of Sting I am gearing up to release my Sophomore album as well as a video for my single “Catch Me If You Can” this March.
With her eyes on the prize Brown continues to make waves internationally with her song “Lover’s Rock” ranked #12 on South Florida’s Top 25 Reggae singles chart and #19 on the New York top 30 countdown, while other singles like “Let It Be Me” is #13 on Chris Coxson U.K Chart and the video #2 on the CVM TV Hit list Top 5 reggae videos.
