When the WEEKEND star entered through the doors of Stacious’ new establishment, Café Scrumptious, she was busily bustling away, taking the orders of her new customers at the cafe’s launch party on Wednesday evening.
Stacious, whose real name is Stacy Scarlett, received support from family members, close friends, fans and members of both the entertainment and media fraternity as the occasion pulled a sizeable crowd.
Supporters were everywhere as they turned out to enjoy the good food, smoothies and other delectable treats that were available at the launch party.
Stacious, who had a broad smile on her face, sweat trickling from her forehead, as she made a smoothie for a customer, told THEWEEKENDSTAR that the feeling she had was one of joy and gratitude.
“I’m really happy that Café Scrumptious is finally up! It’s something that I wanted to do from a longer time, but yuh done know it finally done,” the Come In To My Room singer said in glee. “But this is just a stepping stone of the greater things that I have planned, hopefully everything works out,” she added.
The entertainer also expressed gratitude towards the faithfuls who came out in support of her entrepreneurial efforts.
“I’m thankful for the turnout that I got and I’d like to thank everybody who came for the support.”
With an extensive menu of smoothies, sandwiches and other healthy, delectable treats, Stacious is confident that the café will do well.

“At Café Scrumptious, you get everything fresh, no sugar added. For our smoothies, we have fruits and vegetables, all different kinds of sandwiches and everything is done to order.”
As for the sandwiches, the entertainer said that her favourite is the tuna melt.
“I love tuna. My favourite shake would be the exotic crave, which is a blend of strawberries, bananas and papaya.”
The café had a nice set-up, the counters were made of pinewood and bamboo with a glossy finish and the feel inside the café was that of a vegetarian deli, a theme that was evident in the healthy treats that were being offered.
As some celebrity figures made their way in and out of the café, persons on the outside were enjoying the music that was provided by Snipa and others from Best FM. Popcorn, ice cream and other goodies where also made available to the support that showed up.
The likes of D’Angel, G Whizz, Flexxx, Duane Stephenson, Timberlee, Ginjah, ZJ Dymond of Zip FM, gospel artiste Omari, Chedda and many others came out to show support to the artiste and new businesswoman.
