Patrick ‘Curly Lox’ and Paul ‘Tu Lox’ Gaynor, who make up the comedic duo, Twin of Twins, are set to release volume nine in their humorous Stir It Up series.

While deciding not to share the exact contents of the tracks, they said it will have the usual satire, but this time, bigger and better than past volumes.

The twins said they are still pondering between two possible titles for the CD.

In previous releases such as their last, Stir It Up Volume Eight – Trial and Crosses, they managed to ‘stir up’ the anger of a few artistes, but fully aware of that, they are poised to continue with their plans and are not worrying about detractors.

“People in general are always receptive of us. It’s always been how the industry take it. Wi nuh have a problem with any artiste, some a them just get vex sometimes because when wi talk wi nuh hold back nothing,” they said.

The twins are also in the process of finishing their tell-all book, Road To Zion, being written by Patrick.

“It’s a book informing the public how the music industry run, because a lot of people nuh know what a gwaan. It a talk ’bout everything, from wi a struggle a come up, Zion’s (Patrick’s deceased son) death, right up to now,” said Paul.

“It a go open nuff people eye, because the whole view that people have of the industry is a misunderstood one. Wi jus a show the people the fast-food music weh it turn into, there’s no realness or authenticity to it now. A nuh nothing specific about anybody, it’s about life, and what is life about? People,” said Patrick.

He hinted that the possibility of another book is not out of the question, as he said, “If mi get inspiration to write another book mi a go do it. Because yuh see the thing is, dem kinda downplay education and call it nerd, but in reality, they see knowledge as something dangerous.”

“It’s gonna be very interesting. I don’t claim to be a professional writer or anything like that. Mi jus a show the real story behind the madness,” he added.

Twin of Twins recently released their album, Twinness Book Of Records, and are currently planning the December 31st memorial for Zion, which will be incorporated with the annual Ghetto Holiday Splash to be held at Jerky’s in Mandeville.

Part of the proceeds, they said, will go to disabled children under their Zion Emmanuel Gaynor Foundation.
