Born Christopher Gayle the Jah Love Surround Me singer says he is even more excited about the fact the album has charted in less than 24 hours since its February 3, 2023 release with Lights In The Sky featuring Popcaan at number 1 and The Jah Love Surround Me album at number 25 on the iTunes singles and album charts respectively.
“This album will be a historical one, I can feel it and the fact that is already charting says it all. Reggae music is food for the soul and melody for our hearts so as a vessel of Jah I am just doing my duty and the fans are showing appreciation” stated Zamunda.
The Jah Love Surround Me album was executively produced by Christopher Gayle (Zamunda) and was recorded at Tuff Gong and Big Yard Studios. Several top-flight musicians and producers were a part of the production process including the likes of Dean Frazer, Linford “Fatta” Marshall, Kirk Bennett, Wayne “Unga Barunga” Thompson, Antonio “Tony Bone DiFeo and Lamont “Monty” Savory among others.
