Fast-rising New York-based dancehall artiste 1Traxx is beaming with confidence at his prospects of becoming a household name in dancehall. However, his confidence is not based only on optimism as he has been getting excellent feedback from the dancehall community including earth-shattering forwards at stage shows alongside the likes of Alkaline and Valiant.
“The growth in my career is very exciting so despite the fact that I do have a long walk to Stardom it is very encouraging to see that my music is being well received” stated 1Traxx.
Born Audley Willocks the Cockburn Pen Kingston native says he grew up in a musical environment and was always keen on achieving his musical goals. According to the artiste he honed his craft deejaying on local sound systems and performing at various events. However, he always had his sights set on becoming a global brand and he believes he is now in a better position to shoot for his musical goal.
“The struggle was real and music takes time to work so I had to do what I had to do to survive in the meantime. However, I now have a little more breathing space to focus on my craft so it’s an all-out musical mission right now” stated 1Traxx.
Currently, 1Traxx is busy in the studio working closely with Globis Music and is currently promoting a cluster of singles including “Lie” which is currently enjoying local and international radio rotation
