50 Cent's Baby Mama Strikes Back With Lawsuit Over Eviction Attempt

50 cent

Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent’s ex-girlfriend and mother to his ten year old son Marquis, has reportedly filed a breach of contract lawsuit against the G-Unit honcho for trying to evict her from their Long Island, New York home.

As reported earlier, 50 and Tomkins were embroiled in a bitter legal battle over child support payments last year.

50 was initially ordered to pay $25,000 a month in child support to Tomkins but a judge would cut it down to $6,700 this year on condition that Tomkins used the money to find a new residence.

50 planned to ask a judge today (April 3) to have Tomkins evicted from the Long Island house because she has not attempted to find a new residence and is taking advantage of the fact he pays all the bills for the Long Island home.

According to The Associated Press, in her lawsuit filed in Manhattan court Thursday, Tomkins claims that 50 Cent promised to buy her the Long Island home but put it under his name when it was acquired.

Tomkins lawyer, Paul Catsandonis, told Radar Magazine earlier today that his client cannot be evicted because by definition she is not a tenant. Tomkins doesn’t pay any rent and there was no lease agreement.

Catsandonis also revealed that Tomkins has to take care of two children who reside in the house, Marquis and her daughter by another man. Both children also attend schools in the neighborhood.

50’s lawyer could not be reached for comment on the case.
