Bryan Art has been busy performing and promoting his well- received album “20Ten”, rated as one of the best reggae albums of 2010. After wooing the audience at the annual Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival in January, Bryan Art has embarked on a tour on the US East Coast with his main performances in New York.
With his strong repertoire of music Bryan enjoys to perform every single one of his songs, from “Best of My Love”, “Ready Or Not” and “Murder Dem A Play” to “Undecided”, with each one appealing to a different kind of emotion, which is the beauty of variety.
Bryan kicked off the series of shows on March 25th, 2011 with a special in-studio recording for invited press at the Smash Studios. Performances followed on March 27th at Webster Hall NYC, March 28th at the B-Hive Lounge in Brooklyn and on April 2nd at 92-Y-Tribeca, where Bryan hit the stage as a special guest artiste to Meta & The Cornerstone. Bryan and Meta met through a mutual good friend, fellow artiste Faraji and share a similar energy and positive vibe on stage and off.
On April 4th, Bryan was gearing up for another show as a guest of Pat McKay of Sirius XM at the Third World Press event. The main show took place the day after at the McGraw Hill Building at the Rockefeller Center. More shows followed on April 5th at PAPA Michigan’s album release party for “Empress By My Side” at The Pyramid where Bryan Art showed support for his fellow artiste. According to Bryan, “The US East Coast promotional run was a ‘sell off‘!”
The audiences response to Bryan Art on stage was consistently positive and each stop on the tour won Bryan more new fans who appreciate and love positive, lasting music or as Bryan says, “this serves as a very strong confirmation that the appreciation for good music never ceases.”
