Ashanti opened up to VladTV about new projects that she’s preparing to release, and revealed how the music industry has changed throughout her career. The famed singer says that these days she gets a lot less back in return for a significant increase in work put into a project.
During the interview Ashanti also speaks about turning down seven major label deals in favor of the independent route. The New York native explains that she couldn’t stomach the 360 deals being offered, and Ashanti adds that it felt disrespectful to the brand that she built over the years.
