The video for what is being touted as one of the hottest songs for the summer, Come See About Me, a collabo with singer Bar-bee and US hip-hop artiste Trina, was shot recently in downtown Los Angeles, California.
A flirtatious song with a lot of energy, the video shoot reflected just that and both artistes are pleased at the result.
Trina, known for the song, Here We Go, featuring Kelly Rowland, was exuberant in her praise for the video and her working relationship with Barbee on set.
“I had a really great time shooting the video with Barbee,” Trina enthused. “It’s very girlie and fun and sexy. We had great chemistry and that’s always important when you work with an artiste! I believe Barbee is gonna drive the fellas wild and make all the ladies smile and get their sexy on! I love her, she’s super sweet!”
Barbee’s manager, Rose Esselebor, in turn commended Trina for “making this video shoot a dream”. She noted that wardrobe was taken care of with ease and precision and the set was amazing.
“It was a great experience … everything was in place and the level of organisation was incredible,” she concluded.
Barbee who was working Trina for the first time had nothing but high praises for her and her work ethics.
Barbee, who was in Jamaica recently for a video shoot with Sean Kingston and Nicky Minaj, performed last weekend in LA at an event that featured Busta Rhymes, Gyptian, Anthony B, Young Money and New Boys.
Later this month she will jet to Canada for a performance at Club on Queen.
