“New Friends†provides clean polished lyrics over a smooth beat. The song looks into the topic of people who want to become friends only when they see it as an opportunity. Benks goes on to “Big Up” all his real friends, paying tribute that those who have been real friends throughout his life.
Benks is currently performing at various events around Jamaica. He has also made cameo appearances in music videos and many high profile sessions.
