Bogie Signs On As VJ With WickedHype.com

New York based Christina Bogie, aka Bogie Management wears many hats in the entertainment industry. Her company Bogie Management LLC provides management and public relations services to a roster of current and past clients including Fambo, Lisa Get Dem, Don Yardas, New Kingston and others. She has also voiced commercials, did artiste bookings, management and worked briefly in the film and radio industries.

She got her big break while still a youngster in high school. Working as a VJ on a TV Show in Harlem called “Harlem Streets,” she snagged interviews with dancehall heavyweights Beenie Man, Baby Cham and others. After a sojourn from the industry to complete a Bachelors degree in accounting, Bogie returned to television, debuting as host of “A Llittle Bit of Trouble” on Back Yard TV, a weekly show that airs on public Access Station Bronx Net on Saturdays. She has since worked as a VJ for Dancehallconnect.com, conducting interviews with many top reggae acts and celebrities including Soca stars Lyrikal, Hypasound, Cassie, Machel Montano, Kes, Wassi One; dancers: Chekkazz, Unit Ravers, Fearless, BK Allstar, Ground Zero; reggae acts Khago, Dainjamental, Mr Easy, Richie Loop, Dylan from MTV’s Making the Band, Delly Ranx, Keida, Peetah Morgan, Red Fox, Screechy Dan, Anthony B, Lisa Hype, Laza Morgan, Mr Vegas and others. She has covered many events including the Reggae Rhythms and Blues Festival in Queens and the recent I-Octane EP release party in NY.

Not one to rest on her laurels, Bogie inked a contract earlier this month with wickedhype.com, a leading reggae site which partners with worldstarhiphop.com, a popular urban internet site. In her capacity as VJ/PR Executive, Bogie will conduct artist interviews, premier new videos and report on happenings in the industry. She will also be responsible for branding the site in the market and establishing a soca presence on the site.

When asked what sets her apart for her peers, Bogie said, “I have a mommy authority but a down to earth personality. I have been working in corporate America for 10 years so I have a business oriented personally. I am sarcastic but honest at the same time. I tell people the truth whether they want to hear it or not. A mixture of these aspects make me special. My energy is amazing, my adrenal is like no other. I set goals and aim to complete them. I think outside the box” she said.
