Buzzing sing jay Tatik has become the point of envy for all emerging talents in dancehall after he was given the nod of approval cluster by dancehall superstars. Following the release of an emotionally charged single entitled Apology which was produced by on-fleek producer Kyle Butler of Dynasty Records.
The song quickly went viral on Tiktok where thousands of people worldwide shared videos of themselves singing along to the powerful track. However, the real local buzz started when Bounty Killer, Popcaan, Squash and Teejay Up Top Boss all shared his song on their individual Instagram accounts which lead to the song making its way onto several local and international playlists as well as secured several shows in the United States for the emerging entertainer.
“I feel blessed and honored because the artistes that I look up to are now singing my songs which has resulted in my career growing tremendously. I must say maximum respect goes out to the legendary Bounty Killer, Popcaan, Squash and Teejay Up Top Boss for the strength. Dem man deh a generals and for them to share their platform with me shows me that hard work eventually gets rewarded because I have been doing good music for a longtime” stated Tatik.
The former Magnum Kings and Queens finalist has been on the musical radar for quite some time now in various capacities but seems to have finally found the formula that works best for him. Many musical pundits are aware of the ability that this multi-talented individual has considering that he is also a beat maker for the likes of Popcaan as well as an established graphic artiste. However, the Magnum Top Performa finalist says he is ready for the mainstream market now.
“My rise has been a process and its a journey that I am enjoying because it is allowing me to develop my craft in all areas which I am sure will serve me well long term. I have entered many talent shows which helped me to develop my stage craft, I have produced many established artistes which allowed me to learn the business side of the music as well as studio recording techniques to get the best out of my voice so at this point I am ready for anything musically” Tatik stated.
Currently, Tatik is signed to Skyviews Entertainment as is working with several top-flight producers such as Notnice, Attomatic, Seanizzle, Karl Durrant, Mr. G, Dynasty Records, Minto Play and many others.
