Chino spoke of his striking accomplishments, saying, “Last year I worked exceptionally hard and even while on a three month tour in Europe and the USA I was still writing so when I got back to Jamaica I could record and get things kicking again. It has taken a lot of sacrifices to get to this point: non-stop travelling, performing, recording and sometimes when people see you they don’t know what you have to go through to get to a point, so even that, I pour everything into my music. I feel really happy but humbled to see where the journey has taken me and once again I have to say bless up to everybody for the support.”

Also in December of last year, Chino, alongside another artiste walked away with ‘Best New Artiste(s) of the Year’, and to kick-off 2010 with a bang, in addition to his numerous noms, he has released a humorous yet telling-tale called Telephone Gallis, (which he says he is a far cry from), on the Jukeboxx Label. Then this Saturday, Chino will share the stage with other superstars, namely Sean Kingston, Iyaz known for his Billboard chart-topper Replay, Elephant Man, Ding Dong, Etana, Alaine, G-Whizz, QQ and more at the Coke Zero Presents Sean Kingston in Concert at the LIME Golf Academy, St. Andrew.
