Dalton Harris Held Up Near To School – Robbed of $26,000 at knifepoint

THE STAR understands that Dalton Harris wallet, which contained $26,000, was taken from him during the robbery by two men armed with knives who ambushed him. The incident occurred at about 8:45 a.m.

Information received by THE STAR is that Harris was a passenger on a robot taxi heading to school when the incident occurred.

THE STAR was told that during the journey Harris was informed by the driver of the taxi that he had to let him off because police officers were on the route and he wanted to avoid them. Harris then exited the taxi which drove off shortly afterward.

It was at that moment, two men emerged from nearby bushes, pounced upon Harris, held him at knifepoint and robbed him of his wallet.

All efforts by THE STAR to contact Harris proved futile as a relative explained that he had left his cell phone at home but was not there.

Dalton Harris had gained stardom after he won the sixth staging of ‘Digicel Rising Stars’ in September of last year.

The Frankfield police have confirmed the incident. Detective Woman Constable V May is leading the investigations.
