Danielle delivers in new video

Singer Danielle is upping her game with her new video Push Over.

According to a release sent to THE STAR, the up-tempo track is produced by world-renowned music legends, Sly and Robbie. The infectious beat fuses elements of house, dancehall and rhythmic dance music, topped with seductive vocals. Already, the track has received excellent feedback, thus sparking the need for a first world music video to capitalise on the audios emerging success.

Ace music video director Gareth Cobran merged forces with photographic director, William Richards, to create a fairytale imagery bringing, Push Over to life. Cobran decided upon an old world Venetian theme.

Scenes captured in the video show the leading lady playing a madam role in her boudoir, clad in sexy, glamorised ensembles. The lady of the house was catered to by servants who poured wine and bath water to her comfort. In their mistress’ absence they were not shy to bust a move to the high-energy beats.

empowering message

Danielle explained that the song delivers a message of empowerment. In the release she was quoted as saying, “show your attitude … I’m so hater proof … I’m so free, those lines were deliberately included to motivate someone to keep their heads up, regardless of how others feel about you.”

She defends the underdog who faces undermining, and encourages a carefree attitude powered with confidence. The song also tells of her dominant return to music.
