As music enthusiasts, we love to keep up with the latest hits and chart-toppers. In this installment of DBenchmark Countdown, we showcase the top 10 Dancehall and Reggae songs on the charts, courtesy of Media Publicist Karl Durrant.
Topping the dancehall charts is Valiant and Stalk Ashley’s “Narcissist,” Dexta Daps holding it down in second place with the single “Forever” and model, singer, and songwriter Samantha J in third position with “Push Ya Luck”.
Over on the Reggae Charts, recording artist Zamunda holds the number one and two positions, with the single “Lights in Sky” featuring the Unruly Boss Popcaan and “Time is Now” featuring Capleton, Jah Cure and Kumar. Popcaan featuring Toni Ann Singh holds the third position for their collaborative effort, “Next to Me.”
The Dancehall artist of the week goes to St. Thomas’s very own Tenn Point. In the Street Bubblers segment, we have Intence “Outrageous,” rising acts Ramzey Magandey, Rane Son, Trapp Gad, and Jmovemence.
With talented artists like Valiant, Zamunda, Popcaan, and Chronic Law dominating the charts, we can expect even more exciting hits to come in the future.
