Do Drake and Tory Lanez Have beef?

That’s a question many have been wondering for the pass few months. During an interview with New York radio station Hot 97, Fargo breaks it all down, admitting that there is some friction, even if it isn’t personal.

“There’s never been a personal problem because I don’t know that man,”
said the “Say It” hit singer. “It’s just one of those situations where, the only thing that’s ever gonna lie in between us is that we can’t share first place and I’m the only guy that’s bold enough to come and really take that right now.”

“Hip-hop is a contact sport,” he added. “I’m here to compete. I’m here to be No. 1. I’m here to be the greatest. Anybody that’s standing in the way, whether it’s him or anybody, it’s gotta go the way it’s gotta go. I’m not gonna stop until I get that.”

Despite the competitive spirt, Tory says he’s a fan of the 6 God. “I’ve said I was a fan of his music before,” he explained. “That doesn’t mean that I’m not here to take that crown. What do you think this is? What do you think, I’m here to be second place?”

Many speculated that Drizzy was aiming at Tory on “Summer Sixteen” with lines like “all you boys in the new Toronto want to be me a little,” particularly because it follows the release of the New Toronto mixtape by Lanez. Drake followed that up by saying “you was never gang, gang, gang, gang, you was never one of us” to which Lanez responded on “Line Up the Flex,” with “Fuck them ni**as that was hating on me,” he raps. “Even though a ni**a used to tell ’em all / I was never ever gang, gang, gang, gang, I was One Umbrella Mob.”
