Drake Ties Michael Jackson for Longest-Leading Billboard Record

Drake’s “One Dance” hit still remains No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the eighth non-consecutive week and his album, VIEWS, also maintains the top spot on the Billboard 200 for the ninth consecutive week. The 6 God is surely sitting pretty—so much that he even matched Michael Jackson for the “the longest-ever simultaneous domination” of both charts by a male musician. The Gloved One achieved that feat in 1983 with “Billie Jean” and Thriller.  Moreover, Whitney Houston was the last artist who dominated the Hot 100 for 12 consecutive weeks with her song, “I Will Always Love You” and The Bodyguard soundtrack for the Billboard 200 chart.

Currently, Justin Timberlake takes the No.2 spot with “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and Desiigner snags the No. 4 position with “Panda.” Check out Billboard’s top 10 for this week, below:
