Elly Ess and Supah Shane rocks S.O.B's

On Monday, August 10, 2009, reggae artists Elly Ess and Supah Shane celebrated the release of their hit track “More Money” at S.O.B’s. The first single from their EP United We Stand, “More Money” is a street anthem that talks about the goal of society during the current economic downturn.

The single release, which was hosted by JAMROCK Magazine, brought out media outlets who were interested to see what the buzz, surrounding Elly Ess and Supah Shane, was about. The brothers, who are no strangers to the music industry, have worked with an impressive line-up of artists which includes hip hop superstar Jim Jones, dancehall aficionados Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Capleton, Richie Spice, Aidonia, Elephant Man, among others. They have also produced chart topping Riddims such as the “Onward Riddim” and the “Gangsta Gangsta Riddim”.

At Showtime, the duo blazed the stage and gave the Rock With Squeeze crowd a sampling of songs on their EP that included the international hit “Bad Boys”, “Forgive Me”, “Wah Dem A Pre” and “Whine For Me”, before lacing the crowd with the celebrated single “More Money”. Thereafter, DJ/Radio personality Kevin Crown of Linkup Radio on WVIP 93.5FM who hosted the evening’s performances, offered the audience a sneak peek of what’s in store for the budding young talent with an on stage interview.

As a result of a recently signed distribution deal between RHH Music Corp’s CEO Rodney Hill, manager for Elly Ess and Supah Shane and Dubshot Records, a New York based hybrid label that will handle the circulation of single releases, “More Money” is now available for purchase on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and Zune.
