The Jamaican girls were everywhere — London, New York, Paris, Milan and all stops in between. They took their Jamaican ‘swagger’ to the runways of the fashion capitals and the pages of the international glossies.
However when all was said and done it was Jeneil’s year. This Pulse ‘covered’ from French to the Wall Street Journal with LOVE and i-D in between. Editorially she was a hit with Italian Vogue, Russian Vogue, Vogue Pella, J Crew and was the only black model featured in the Pirelli calendar — shot by Karl Lagerfeld. She also racked up model miles, walking for some of the world’s top designers.
Honourable Mention — Sedene Blake
Vogue’s style.com named her among three of the top girls to watch for the show seasons this year and Pulse’s Sedene Blake surpassed all expectations.
But, it was not all shows for this new darling of fashion who left Jamaica last November to begin her international career. Her print notables included: Italian Vogue Beauty cover Vogue Pella, Russian Vogue, Teen Vogue, Italian Vogue editorial, American Vogue, Pop magazine and Harper’s Bazaar.
