Chris Campbell, Publicist at Solid Agency, organisers of the event, said “Fully Loaded is an event that has a lot of energy and excitement and when we began to shop for a headliner we wanted someone with a catalogue who was experienced and relevant at the same time. Fat Joe is one such artiste, he has been around for a while and still has a large following of fans. His most recent track One featuring Akon has gotten over 2 million views on Youtube not to mention Joe’s skill and creativity as a rapper.”

a decade in the music industry

Fat Joe is celebrating over a decade in the music industry, having begun his career in the early 1990s. Born in the Bronx, New York, he is the C.E.O of his own label, Terror Squad, which has produced young talents such as Remy Ma and Tony Sunshine – Fat Joe has enjoyed an abundance of success in music.

In 1993 Fat Joe recorded his debut album Represent which introduced him to mainstream America. But it was his fourth album J.O.S.E an acronym for Jealous Ones Still Envy, that catapulted his career and earned him respect as one of New York’s finest M.C’s.

The album featured smash hits like We Thuggin alongside R Kelly and the sensational Ashanti collaboration What’s Luv, which incidentally made its way on to the Jawanna Man movie soundtrack.

Other Fat Joe hits include New York alongside Ja Rule and Jadakiss and Lean Back whichtopped the Billboard Top 100 Charts for three consecutive weeks.
