Dwight Nuclear Whyte began his musical career while still attending Braeton Primary. His first live performance was a stage show dubbed the Greatest Show on Earth in Portmore at the tender age of seven.

He continued to perform at various shows in and out of portmore and in 1995 released his first recording “Innocent for legendary producers Sly & Robbies Taxi Label.

Since then he has recorded countless singles, most notably Eagle Fly, Weaky Weaky, Resident Evil , Gwaan So Bad and Pimp Juice with Vybz Kartel.

Over the years Nuclear has performed on some of the biggest shows in Jamaica such as Sting, Portmore Awards, Spring Break, Fully Loaded and West Kingston Jamboree among others, he has also performed in a number of Caribbean countries.

In 2007 he was the victim of a drive by shooting after a party in Portmore and as faith would have it met in a car accident while on his way to the hospital which left him in critical condition. This would prevent him from recording for over a year.

This setback however would only serve to motivate him to return to music with a vengeance. He returned to the studio in 2008 and has since released a number of singles including Gwaan So Bad, Bend Down Gal featuring G-loc along with an accompanying video.

Currently he is busy promoting his latest single “Single Mothers for which a video will be released in the summer of 2009.
