While most of the current crop of new dancehall artistes are dabbling with “trap dancehall” which is arguably struggling to the pass local borders at least one young artiste is sticking to the tried, tested and proven authentic dancehall sound and delivery reminiscent of the nostalgic 90s dancehall era. This artiste is known as Intrestt, a witty young deejay who has impressed many musical pundits with his vocal prowess including the legendary King Jammy’s who recently recorded an album with this extraordinary talent.
According to Intrestt he is adept at delivering any genre of music but he has a great appreciation for the 80s to 90s sound.
